Needed in the Wairarapa. Featherston through to Masterton. We provide food, vet care, flea/worming treatment and transport. You provide a loving and nurturing temporary home for kittens or cat/s. You will need to be a jobsworth, reliable and honest person with good communication. Ideally you will need your own reliable transport and full licence, but arrangements can possibly be made otherwise. Preffered knowledge in caring for cats, a safe, secure and approved home with a separate indoors room for the kittens/cat, and a love for taking care of animals. In return you get so much love and satisfaction from fostering and watching kittens or cats grow into their true potential. 
*Adult cats and kittens waiting for adoption (most common type of fostering required).
*Bottle feeding kittens.
*Caring for a mother with a litter of kittens.
*Caring for orphaned kittens who are able to feed themselves but not yet old enough to be desexed and adopted.
*Socialising cats and kittens that have had little or no human contact.
*Rehabilitation of cats and kittens whilst undergoing veterinary treatment.
Fundraisers help immensely to sustain KCR! We need reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help at our public fundraiser events. Join in on one our stalls to represent KittyCat Rehoming, meet the public and have a fun day! Every 3 months we have bake sales, sausage sizzles, raffles and merchandise for sale all across the Wairarapa. Particularly Featherston and Masterton. We plan to have more frequent fundraisers, 1 or 2 a month. 1, or even just a few hours dedicated is appreciated. You’re welcome to donate your work or talents at our stalls. 
Anyone with a full license, reliable transport and clean driving record can apply. We need transporters to help with vet trips for cats (including emergencies), food or product pickup, adoption transportation, and similar arrangements. Central Wairarapa being the main area; from Featherston, Greytown, Carterton to Masterton. But there will be times where transport is needed outside of the Wairarapa; Hutt Valley, Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti. We can reimburse petrol if needed.
